Eighth Grade

 
 

The eighth grade curriculum focuses on preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The candidates will explore the role of the Spirit at work in the Church and in their own lives.  They will review prayers, key doctrine, the Church, sacraments, worship and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Outreach in service to others within and beyond the parish is an important part of the preparation process. The candidates participate in an Enrollment Liturgy in the fall, are interviewed by an adult of the parish in February and participate in a retreat prior to being confirmed.
