Music Ministry

The ministry of music is an integral part of worship at St. Francis Xavier and we offer many opportunities for parishioners to enjoy both instrumental and vocal music. In 1995 St. Francis Xavier installed a 30 rank Casavant Feres organ that was built especially for our church.

Whatever your musical ability, St. Francis has a place for you in our music ministry.

Instrumentalists and Cantors
Instrumentalists are always welcome to enhance liturgies with their musical gifts. If you have a talent you wish to share please phone the director of music, Jonathan Metzinger, at the Parish Office.

Cantors proclaim the word and lead the congregation in song and praise. As volunteer liturgical ministers they share their talent on a rotating basis. Anyone interested in sharing his or her talent is welcome to phone the parish office for more information.
