Are you or someone you know--a friend, neighbor or relative--considering joining the Catholic Church? Think about participating in St. Francis Xavier’s RCIA—the Right of Christian Initiation for Adults.
RCIA is intended for any adult who is considering becoming a Catholic and who wants to learn more about the Catholic faith. Meetings take place once a week from the end of September until shortly after Easter. Conducted by a team of parishioners, the sessions are informal and designed to help inquirers understand the teachings, history and dynamics of the church.
RCIA sessions are held Mondays stating at 7:30 pm and run until 9pm. They take place in the Upper Room of the Parish Offices. An introductory open house will take place in September.
For more information about RCIA, people can contact the parish office at 847-256-4250. If callers leave their name and phone number or email address, a member of the RCIA team will get back in touch with them. Or, feel free to contact Kieran Lyons at the Parish Office ext. 19 directly or email@example.com
